09/17/1999 08:21 <br />EJ{HIBIT C <br />7197675540 <br />• <br />MINING PLAN <br />CHEYENNE COUNTY <br />(a) Mining of the gravel deposit is scheduled to commence approximately <br />October 1, 1999 and end when the deposit is exhausted possibly 2009. <br />(b) Topsoil and subsoil depth is approximately 6". Cheyenne County will <br />salvage and stockpile topsoil and subsoil to the 6" as recommended by <br />the Soil Conservation Service. Topsoil and subsoil will be stockpiled in <br />the north part of the pit as described in Exhibit C and Mining Plan Map. <br />(c) When and where overburden is encountered, it will be stockpiled as <br />above. <br />(e) An access road will be built off of C.R. 28. The loading area road and <br />associated berm will not be part of this operation. <br />(~ As previously mentioned in Addendum to Exhibit B, There will be no <br />catch pond associated with this operation. <br />(~ No loading area road. Access road is the only road associated with this <br />operation. <br />(I) No catch pond to catch drainage from active mining area. The proposed <br />gravel pit will not intercept any groundwater due to slope and water runoff <br />Ponding of water may occur for a short period after a signiftcant rain. No <br />detrimental effects of quality are anticipated. <br />(k) No refuse, acid or toxic producing materials will be exposed. <br />PAGE 05 <br />(1) There will be no disturbance to hydrologic balance. Reclamation will be <br />consistent with future rangeland land use. <br />
