2. Original Comment: Maps 5, 7, 33, 39, 40, 41, 43, 48, 49, 56 and 57 were still not included in the
~~ package as indicated by the cover letter. Please note that, because the change in these maps consists
solely of the extension of the permit boundary, they don't necessarily need to be included at this stage of
the process. The Division's concern is that the cover memo states that they have been included, but we
did not receive them.
MCC Response: Maps are included with this permit response submittal.

Map 7 -This is a mylar map depicting Archaeology Study Map of the West Elk Mine Surface Facilities
completed February 1980. This map has no relavance to PR 10.
Map 33 -This is a mylar map depicting the Portal and Bench Cut Locations of the F Seam Portals,
February 1981. This map has no relavance to PR 10.
Map 39 -This is a my[ar map depicting Floodplain Delineation Existing Conditions, August 1979. This
map has no relavance to PR 10.
Map 40 -This Soils Map was updated to include the South ojDivide Permit Area, (attached}.
Map 41 -This Soil Survey Map depicts soils of the surface facilities area, dated 10-11-79. The map was
modifted to show title block changes, {attached}.
Map 43 -This is a mylar photo depicting (10/11/79) pre-mining vegetation conditions of Bear Mining
Operation Area and West Elk Mine surface areas. (This map has no relavance to PR 10)
Map 48 -This is a mylar Big Game Investigations Map completed in August 1979. (This map has no
relavance to PR 10)
