<br /> <br />EXHIBIT E - RECLAMATION PLAN NARRATIVE (CONTINUED <br />(Revised 02/07/95) <br />Seeding will occur in either the fall or spring, and will be <br />repeated in either the next fall or spring if necessary. Other <br />detail on seeding may be found in the accompanying recommendations <br />as outlined in the letter in EXHIBIT I/J <br />Trees and shrubs will be planted as follows: <br />1. 400 shrubs, 200 trees of 1" caliper or greater, and 200 tree <br />seedlings planted in the Rivers's ox-bow in northwest portion <br />of Area 2A along the east side of the River. <br />2. 200 shrubs and 100 trees of 1~~ caliper or greater will be <br />planted along other periphery areas around the lake area(s). <br />Not more than 600 of the 200 1" or greater caliper of the deciduous <br />trees may be Cottonwood and Willow species. The remaining 400 of <br />the 200 1" or greater caliper of deciduous trees shall be other <br />species of deciduous trees such as American Plum, Western Catalpa, <br />Green Ash, Hackberry, Honey Locust, or other adapted deciduous <br />trees, except Russian Olive trees which are excluded. Not more <br />than l0a of any one type of shrubs may be utilized. Typical shrubs <br />which may be considered included Antelope Bitterbrush, Hansen Rose, <br />Rabbit Bush, Honeysuckle, Skunkbush Sumac, Lilac, Snowberry, <br />Buffaloberry, Cistena Cherry, Manchiv Cherry, Bluestem Willow, <br />Golden Current, or other adapted species. Shrubs will be in 5 <br />gallon containers. <br />For bond release requests, a minimum survival rate of 500 of the <br />trees and shrubs within any area proposed for release must be <br />demonstrated at the time of release. <br />
