ADDITIONAL PRECAUTIONS FOR SINGLE BOOM ATS/CANOPY SYSTEMS ON <br />ELECTRJC BOLTERS <br />~J <br />A. Roof Bolter Manufacturer - Fletcher <br />Model Number - HDDR-13, Pli-HDDR-13 8 HDDR-15 <br />Serial Number - 81003, 81113, 82038, & 82116 <br />Minimum Load Capacity - 53,000 lb. <br />6, i, registered professional encineer shad certify that each <br />ATS is capable of supportinc the aoove minimum load carry- <br />ing capacities. Evidence of the certification shall be <br />furnished oy attachine a plate, level, or other appropri- <br />ate marxinq td the ATS system. Written evidence of this <br />certification shall be retained by Operator. <br />C. Two safety jacks must be kept on the roof bolting machine <br />at all times to oe used when adverse roof conditions are <br />encountered and the automated support does not supply ade- <br />• Guate protection for the bolter operator. <br />D. The ccn~rcls necessary to position and set the automated <br />support shall be located in sucn a runner that they can be <br />operated from under the Operator's canopy, or from under <br />permanent support. <br />E. If the Gcerater is located completely under the Operator's <br />canop;, 'hey may tram a maximum of 2 feet past permanent <br />SUDddrt until the TP.S is set firT~ly against the roof. <br />F. No one shall proceed inby the automated temporary support <br />system unless a minimum of 2 (two) temporary supports are <br />installed.
