SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR FULL ROOF BOLTING • A full roof bolting plan shall be construed to mean bolting as the primary means of roof support. 1. Roof bolts shall be installea in the seduence and manner shown in the accompanying drawincs. 2. All roof bolts used as the primary means of roof support will be of the resin anchorage type or point anchor resin anchorage. 3. a) All personnel required to install roof supports shall be trained by a qualified supervisor or experienced operator before beind made solely responsible for such v,ork. This training shall ensure that such per- sons are familiar with the functions of the st;ppdrt being used, proper installation procedures, and the approved roof control play, A record of this train- ing shall be Wept at the c,in=_. • b) Supervisors in charge and r.iners w•ho install supports shall be informed of an approved roof control plan and any chanoes that are rrore Stringent than in a previously approved roof control plan not later than their first working shift following receipt of the approved plan.
