ROOF AND RIB CONTROL - ORCHARD VALLEY MINE <br />FULL ROOF BOLTING PLAN <br />• GENERAL <br />1. This minimum roof and rib control plan has been formu- <br />lated for normal roof antl rib conditions encounteretl <br />during mining at the Orchard Valley Kline. <br />[. A normal roof condition is defined as a roof capable of <br />being supported by the entry and pillar design dimensions <br />and any artificial support installed as a normal opera- <br />tional procedure. <br />3. In active working areas where subnormal roof conditions <br />are encountered, indicated, or anticipated, the Plan <br />shall be supplemented with additional roof and/or rib <br />support. <br />• 4. If any changes are to be made i^ the mining cystem that <br />necessitates any change in the rbor control olan, the <br />plan shall be revised anc approved prior tc implementinc <br />the new mining system. <br />5.
