Responses are shown after each point and are <br />shown in bold. <br />6.4.4 EXHIBIT D -Mining Plan <br />1. The Division is agreeable to the applicant mining the site in three (3) distinct stages, <br />and mining through the existing intermittent stream channel (Sandy Creek) provided the <br />applicant will commit to the following measures: <br />• The entire boundaries of the north and south bank of the stream channel will be <br />clearly marked prior to excavation. <br />Mr. Larson will mark the intermittent drainage channel boundaries in each of the <br />three areas prior to the commencement of mining in that area. <br />• The operator will excavate the stream channel within each section first, and re- <br />establish the boundaries of the channel including north and south banks prior to <br />excavation in the surround in areas. <br />Mr. Larson will mine the intermittent drainage channel first in each area; the <br />second step will be mining outside the channel area, after channel boundaries have <br />been re-established. <br />Following excavation and re-establishment of the stream channel banks and <br />channel dimensions, the operator will conduct a representative cross-sectional <br />survey ofthe re-established stream channel to verify re-establishment of pre- <br />mising channel dimensions. <br />P <br />
