Information to be correlated with Stevens Guleh stream gage, to show <br />total hydrologic regime for the area. <br />f Locations: <br />f 1. 300' east of Stevens Gulch well house, Section 13 <br />2. Drill pad #4, Section 27 <br />3. Drill pad #46, Section 13 <br />(See attached map) <br />Type: <br />Rain gages are 8" X 18" aluminise cylinder mounted on 10' 4 X 4 redwood <br />poet with top of gage 7' above the ground. <br />Snow sampler is a 4 Section 1 1/2" I.D, aluminum sampler take with cut- <br />ter edge, weighing scales and miscellaneous equipment. <br />Procedure (Rain Gages): <br />1. Prepare rain gage solution (1 qt. 50/50 water 6 antifreeze b 1/4" <br />chick layer of oil on top of mixture). <br />2. Place mixture in rain gage. <br />3. Take depth measurement of liquid and record on rain gage char[. <br />4. Take depth measurements on prescribed dates 1st of January, 1st of <br />July 6 record on chart. <br />5. Repeat step #1 - #4 every 6 months. <br />Procedure (Snow Course): <br />.~ <br />•~ ,~~ <br />1. Sampling procedures are taken from U.S. Department of Agriculture <br />(Soil Conservation Service) Federal and State Cooperative Snow Surveys, publi- <br />cation SCS-ENG-708 Rev. 3-70. <br />2.
