<br />BUP~ROS MINE <br />EXHIBIT D - [MATER <br /> <br />This operation is not expected to affect the surface or ground <br />tooter system. Seep water in the mine accumulates in sumps and i.. <br />then pumped to the surface and held in a retention pond to allow <br />re-percolation into the ground water system. <br />Project water requirements for drilling, haula~eway dust sup- <br />pression and sanitation facilities are provided by the Burro No. 1 <br />T,'ell (Engineers Permit No. 2135-F) and estimated at 6000 gallons <br />per creek or 42,000 cubic feet annually. Since reclamation plans <br />will be based on normal precipitation the caell is expected to be <br />adequate for future needs. <br />EXHIBIT D - VEGETATION <br />The majority of the site.- disturbances occur on steeply sloping <br />allevial fans against a conyon wall having a Southerly aspect. <br />Dominant visual cover consists of short sparsely spaced junipers <br />and varying sized boulders with loco growing grasses and forbs. <br />Total vegetative cover is anpro~:imately 12`/„ consisting of the <br />following: 45% grasses (Galleta 43 ), 28„ rabbitbrush and snake-- <br />caeek, 4% shodscale saltbush, and 1% juniper. Other vegetation <br />present is: yucca, cactus, pinyon, sand dropseed, Indian rice- <br />grass and miscellaneous forbs.
