Canany <br />TO: Kate Pickford Division Director <br />/ Natural Resource Trustee <br />FROM: Allen Sorenson ~~ r// <br />RE: Approval of Proposed Storm Water Controls, Rock Dog No. 1 Pit, <br />Gravel LLC, File No. M-2005-045 <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) engineering staff have reviewed the letter report and <br />attachments submitted on behalf of the Applicant and dated March 29, 2006. Also reviewed was the <br />report and attached map dated March 17, 2006 (believed to be a typo; should be April 17, 2006} and <br />received at DMG on April 19, 2006. This second document describes the routing of runoff from the <br />BP Operations Center located to the east of the proposed gravel pit. The designs, plans and other <br />information contained in these documents are sufficient to demonstrate that the proposed storm water <br />controls constructed in accordance with the plans will control runoff from a 10 year/24 hour event and <br />safely convey the 100 year/24 hour event.
