Cattany <br />Acting Division Director <br />TI-IIS PERMIT is issued by the Mined Land Reclamation Board, Departmerrt of Natural Resources, <br />State of Colorado. <br />A. The Pemnit[ee, Colorado Lime Company desires to conduct a mining operation lmown as <br />Monarch Quarry, for the purpose of extracting limestone (general) and dolomite. The Petmittee will not mine <br />any secondary commodities at this site. <br />B. On lanllary 9, 2002 the Mined Land Reclamation Board (the "Board") approved the Pemlittee's <br />application for this pemnit, faced the amount of the financial warranty and directed that this pemmit be issued upon <br />the filing with the Division of Minerals and Geology (the "Division") of perfomralrce warranty and financial <br />warranty (or warranties) in file amourrt so fixed in fonn and substance approved by the Division. Said warranties <br />have been filed with the Division. <br />C. If the Permittee desires to extract materials other than those listed in (A), a separate pemrit may <br />be requited. <br />D. On January 9, 2002 the Board made the following findings: <br />1. The application for this permit complies with the requirements of tine Colorado Mined <br />Land Reelannation Act for the Extraction ofCorrsuvction Materials, C.R.S. 34-32.5-101 et sal., as amended, and <br />with all applicable (oval, state and federal laws; <br />2. The operation xhll not adversely affect the stabilit}~ of any significant, valuable, and <br />permanent man-made structure located within two hundred feet of the Affected Land, except where there is an <br />agreement between the Operator and the persons having an interest in the structure that damage to the stmcture is <br />to be compensated for by the Permittee; and; <br />
