PRE-MINING AND MINING PLAN MAPS OF AFFECTED LANDS <br />C <br />The site has been disturbed by gilsonite refining and various evaporation pond installations since <br />the 1940's. Although no accurate map was made of the pre-mining site, Map C-1 shows the site as <br />it exists as of 2002 topographic mapping by Mesa County. The pre-disturbance contours of the site <br />is very similar to the contour of the existing ground except that no ponds were excavated. <br />Map C-2 shows the mining plan which is proposed for this project. <br />Gilsonite Pi[ 5/03 i 4 <br />
