' are greater than the required 1.5 static factor and 1.0
pseudostatic factor.

The results of analyses for the waste rock disposal areas
' A, B, C, and D and the East Pit on the north side of the Rito
i Seco are summarized on Figures D.3.5-2, D.3.5-3, D.3.5-4,
D.3.5-5, and D.3.5-6. The analyses indicate that the minimum
static FOS for the critical slip surfaces associated with the
full-height slope, single benches and infinite slope analyses
are identical to those obtained for the south waste
rock/tailings disposal area. These FOS are acceptable for the
t same reasons noted earlier.
D.4 Crushing Facilities
D.4.1 Description of Crushing Facilities

A crushing plant will be constructed adjacent: to the mill
' between the leach pad and the southern waste rock disposal area
(Figure C-2). The crushing plant will consist of a primary jaw
crusher, a secondary cone or gyratory crusher, a tertiary cone
crusher, and one of two quaternary Barmac crusher. Run-of-mine
1 material is fed to the jaw crusher which will crush the
t
i
t
l
th
i
l t
i
ht i
h
F
h
e
y e
es.
rom
ma
er
a
o approx
ma
g
nc
e jaw crus
er,
the material passes through a double deck screen for
separation. Material larger than 3/16 inches is sent to the
cone crusher for secondary crushing. Material meeting the minus
' 3/16-inch size requirement is sent to the heap leach stockpile
or the fine-ore bin, depending on the grade of the ore being
1 crushed. Lower grade ores will be heap leached, while higher
grade ores will be milled.
i Discharge from the cone crusher is run through a double
deck vibrating screen and then directed to either the tertiary
' crusher, the heap leach stockpile, or the fine-ore bin.
Material from the tertiary crusher is directed back through
1
D-26
