The Uncompahgre River flows through the property <br />as indicated on E::hibit E - Map. Flow measurements far the <br />Uncompahgre are acquired ~.~ miles north of Ridgway, <br />appro:imately 8 miles downstream from the proposed operation. <br />USG5 Water Data Reports state that the 32 year average flow at <br />that location is 164 cfs, with a maximum of 2100 cfs on June <br />24, 198•, and a minimum of 26 cfs on January 13, 196•. <br />Water table elevations are npt well established, although <br />previous excavations close to the area and water well <br />information indicate that the water table is considerably below <br />the proposed excavation depth of 10 ft. A cut was er.cavated to <br />a depth of approximately 8 ft with a front end loader, just <br />north of the current equipment storage area and within the <br />depression shown on E::hibit E - Map. A backhoe trench was dug <br />10 ft below the cut elevation and no water was encountered in <br />the hole. This was done on 11/^c7/91 t^ verify that the water <br />F'age 10 <br />
