I' C ~ ~ ~ ~ ~_
- 1
Dilley Sand 6 Gravel Operations
Fort Mogan County
on January 26, 1982 at 4:00 p.m. I returned a call to.~Mr. Baurer, FaP~
Morgan County Commissioner concerning the Dilley Sand & Gravel Operation
which will be coming be=fore our Board for a possible Cease and Desist
Order for operating without a permit as well as permit approval for a
110 operation.
Mr. Baurer was calling to inform me that as far as the County was concerned,
everything was settled and they had County approval. I clarified to Mr.
Baurer that the question was whether or not as of the Board meeting time,
the Dilley Sand s Gravel Operation could lawfully mine sand & gravel
in accordance with all County zoning and other regulations. Xe assured
me that this was the case. I asked him further about whether or not
a special use permit was required for sand s gravel operations and whether
this was part of the zoning procedure. Nis answer was that indeed this
was the case, that special use permits were required and that the Dilley
did not have its special use permit. I aske=d him how soon a special use
permit might be obtained, and he said that it could be obtained tomorrow
if they have their appJ.ication in.
Cr ~S~"~
Once again, I said tkee~=e€cse, w coul go ahead and permit the operation
on Wednesday and at that time, the operation would be in conformance with
County zoning? Mr. Baurer replied yes.
/k
-S
