Analytical and Samvlin2 Hethods for `!onitorine <br />Analytical and sampling methods ucili~ed by the discharger shal'_ <br />conform co Colorado Regulations for Effluent Limitations (10.1.5), and <br />40 CFR Part 136. <br />The analytical method selected for a parameter shall be the one that <br />can measure the lowest detected limit for chat parameter unless the <br />persic limitation or scream standard for those parameters not limited, <br />is within the testing range of another approved method. <br />Calculations for all limitations which require a~:eraging of <br />measurements shall utilize an arithmetic mean unless ocherrise <br />specified. <br />4. Records <br />The permittee shall establish and maintain records. Those records <br />shall include the following: <br />• <br />a) The date, type, exact location, and time of sampling ar <br />measurements; <br />b) The individual(s) who performed the sampling or measurements; <br />c) The dace(s) the analyses :re re perfcrmed; <br />d) The individual(s) who per~oraed the analyses; <br />e) The analytical techniques or methods used; <br />f) The results of such analyses; and <br />g) Any ocher observations which may result in an impact on the <br />quality or quantity of the discharge as indicated in 40 Cc'R <br />122.44 (i)(1)(iii). <br />The persittee shall retain for a minimum of three f3) years r=_cords of <br />all monitoring information, inc'_uding all records of analyses <br />performed, all original strip chart recordings for conc'_auous <br />monitoring instrumentation, ai'_ calibration and maintenance records, <br />copies of all reports required by this permit and records of all data <br />used to comnlece the application for this permit. This period of <br />retention shall be extended dur'_ng the course of any unresolved <br />Litigacioh regarding the discharge of pollutants by the permiccee or <br />when requested by the Division or Regional Administrator of 2P9. <br />5.
