A-2.34 GP-8 TEST
The KI.M aquifer was pump tested through well GP-8. Water level, discharge
rate and field water quality were monitored during pumping. Table A-41 presents the
aquifer-test data for well CP-8. Pumping continued for 12 minutes until the pump
failed for a very short time when it was turned back on and ran for another 23
minutes. A discharge rate of 1.7 gpm was measured during the pumping.
Figure A-50 presents the drawdown data vs. time on a semi-log plot for well
GP-8. Drawdown data has stopped over to the right and gives a broken curve
appearance due to the time delay while the pump was not running. The late data
gives a good straight line fit. By applying Jacob's method to the straight line
fit, a transmissivity value of 6 gal/day/ft i.s obtained. Permeability of the KLM
aquifer near well GP-8 was 0.01 ft/day. Well GP-8 is not a good producer indicative
in the low transmissivity value. it yielded.
A-2.35 GP-9 TEST
The Third White Sandstone aquifer near well GP-9 was pump tested on September
27, 1985. A discharge of 2.0 gpm was maintained for 43 minutes. Table A-42
presents the drawdown data for well GP-9 collected during the pump test.
Late-time drawdown .data from [he GP-9 pump test gives a good straight line
fit. Analyzing: the data in Figure A-51 by using the straight line. data fit with
Jacob's method, a transmissivity value of 4.4 gal/day/ft ie obtained for [he Third
White Sandstone near well GP-9, Permeability at well GP-9 is calculated to be 0.01
ft/day.
•
A-23 f~f~''9p~E~3 FEB 13 '87
