• CLIMATE • <br />Mith an elervation of 4,586 feet above sea level, Grand Junction is <br />urrounded by mountains and this topography protects the valley from severe <br />~+eather changes and most harsh weather. Grand Junction winters are m31d <br />with a yearly average snowfall of 25.4 inches and only 34 days per year <br />ith temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit. For most of the yetar, the <br />~limate is moderate with an abundance of Colorado sunshine, clean air and <br />]ue skies. <br />rand Junction enjoys 249 average days of sunshine each year, with an <br />nnual precipitation of 8 inches. "Pleasantly warm and dry" would be an <br />apt description and nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. Relative <br />umidity is low during the summer, averaging below 30%.
