WATER INFORMATION <br />This operation shall not directly affect any surface water systems. <br />' The operation is an open-pit gravel project and will be conducted below the level <br />1 that free ground water exists. It is expected that the floor of the pit will <br />be 8 to 10 feet below the natural level of ground water. <br />During operations, the site will be dewatered by pumping. Submitted herein is <br />t a copy of the application for NPDES Permit for this site. The discharges will <br />consist of naturally clarified ground water, and will be monitored and reported <br />according to the Colorado Department of Health specifications. <br />t The project will not pose a pollution problem due to runoff from disturbed areas. <br />The site will be graded in such a manner as to contain any runoff waters on site. <br />' Opera:ions will not require any significant amounts of water during production <br />phases. Waters used on site will be for the purpose of fugitive dust <br />suppression. <br />' During dewatering procedures, an approximate .30 MGD will be discharged.
