Box 1128 <br />La Junta, CO SI050 <br />Re: Receipt of 112 Construction Materials Reclamation Permit AppGgtiom, North River Pit, <br />FBe No. M-99.005 <br />Dear Mr. Kite: <br />On February 5, 1999, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your 112 Construction Materials Reclamation <br />?ermi[ application for the North River Pit, which is located in Otero County. All comment and review periods began <br />on February 5, 1999. 'Ihe decision date for your application is scheduled for May 6, 1999. <br />Vl:rhin ten (li; days a<w°r s!:b:nittal, you must pub:ish notice in a newspaper of genera! circulation in the locliry cf the <br />proposed mining operation once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks. Within that same ten (10) day period, you must <br />mail or personally serve a copy of the same information provided in the public notice to the newspaper to the owners of <br />record of surface rights and all owners of record of surface lands that are within 200 feet of the boundary of the affected <br />land. Imrrwriiarrly after the fast publication, mail a copy of the notice to this office. Proof of notice and mailings, such <br />as Certified Mail -Return Receipt Requested, must be submitted to the Division of Minerals and Geology prior to the <br />decision date. Additionally, any changes or additions to the application on file in our office must also be reflected in the <br />public review copy which has been placed with the Otero County Clerk and Recorder. <br />The Divisiou is reviewing your applkxtion to determine whether it is adequate to meet the requirements of the Act.
