Dear Mr. Self
Upon reviewing your application for a Mining & Reclamation Permit, dated
June 13, 1985, the staff has determined that it is incomplete
under the~Lolorado Mined Land Reclamation Act, Article 32 of Title 34, C.R.S.
1973, as amended (1976 Session Laws, House Bill 1065).
The following items must be submitted in order for the application to be
considered as filed (pursuant to the MLRB definition of "filed", as found in
Rule 1.1(10) of the Rules and Regulations of the Mined Land Reclamation Board,
as amended, effective July, 1978):
A completed and sinned application form. Enclosed is an application form.
Please read through the Exhibits and submit them as required.
Exhibit B - Please describe the operations more thoroughly.
Exhibit D.- Concerning water resources, the S.C.S. may be able to help with
this matter. For example, will it be a wet or dry pit, is it located in a
drainage. etc?
Exhibit H - A performance warranty will be required, which essentially states
the site will be reclaimed. Enclosed is the required form.
Since this will apparently be a Baca County Pit, no financial warranty will be
required. Warranties are not required to be submitted until after CMLR Board
approval.
Public Notice - ConcerninG public notice and notification to ad.iacent
landowners this will need to be performed in accordance with State Law. Once
your application is complete we will send you a typical public notice.
Please be specific in your response as to whether Baca County or Don Self will
be permittee. If Baca County will be the permittee then no application fee or
financial warranty will be required. Please clearly state the permittee.
