' 2.05.3(4)(b)
P1aps 2.05.3(4)(b)-1 thru -9 show the location, sizes,
and cross-sections of each pond. In each pond, the principal
spillway consists of a 6-inch diameter pipe with a gate on
the outlet end. Each pond is equipped with an emergency
spillway consisting of a rectangular weir sized to pass the
' runoff from a 25 year-24 hour event. There will be no outflow
through the emergency spillway as a result of a 10 year-24 hour
' event. After each rain event, if the principal spillway is
inundated, the gate will be opened to permit the contained water
' to discharge.
Each pond will be inspected for structural integrity after eacl:
' major event.
' F7aintenance of the ponds will include vegetation and revegetation
as required if any erosion should occur. ~Jegetation Neill be
established to protect both sides of the dikes used to form
the ponds.
1 Plans for removal of the sedimentation ponds will be to
' drain the ponds and push the em'~ankment material back into
the service area. This will accomplish grading of the area
to final contours as shown on Nap 2.05.4(2)(c). Ponds will
' not be removed until the requirements of 4.05.6(9) are met.

1
1
1
r

RE~~ISED May 15, 1981 64a
