LeRoy Black, PE-LS, Ute Engineering and Surveying Company, <br />Delta, Colorado. Assistance from experts in related fields of <br />' geology and hydrology have been obtained. <br />' (B) Description, map and cross-section of the structure. The general location of a.ll <br />facilities is shown on the Existing Land Use !"_ap 2.04.3(2)(a.). <br />Sedimentation pond One will be maintained until the Highway <br />Department disturbs it in the course of constructing its new <br />' alignment, whereupon it will fall within the Highway Department <br />right of way and will be reclaimed by them. Sedimentation Pond 2 <br />will be maintained until it may become disturbed by the re-routing <br />' of the D7orth r^ork of the Gunnison whereupon a new outlet will be <br />installed. Plork in the areas is expected to begin immediately <br />' after June 30, 1982. Refer to Colorado State Department of <br />Highway letter of October 8, 1981, Figure 2.05.4(2)(a). Further, <br />' it is anticipated that ARCO will begin construction of its proposed <br />fresh water pond in the near future. when this work begins, <br />' sedimentation pond 2 will be obliterated, and ARCO's pond will <br />function in place of Bear's sedimentation pond. <br />' At the beginning of each of the two construction events in the <br />areas of ponds 1 and 2, Bear will request the P1I~R Board release <br />' the Bear Coal Company from liability for the areas. <br />' REVISED May 15, 1981 62a <br />
