Per our conversation September 16, 1993, the seed mix proposed for
all of Umetco's uranium mines in San Miguel County will include
Slender Wheatgrass in place of Crested Wheatgrass where
Crested Wheatgrass is part of the approved seed mix. The rate of
PLS per acre will remain the same for Slender Wheatgrass as: it was
for Crested Wheatgrass.
In addition, when fertilizer is used to amend the soils I
recommend a rate of 25 pounds per acre of superphosphate with a
small amount of nitrogen.
