The quantity <br />of topsoil provided under Exhibit "L " (16, 000 LCI~ an average of approximately 6 <br />inches of topsoil will be spread through out the permit area. The operator will spread <br />6 inches of topsoil throughout the affected area utilizing the 16,000 LCY of topsoil <br />material. <br />EXHIBIT "L" Reclamation Costs (6.4.12) <br />1) Please provide the maximum length and height of the mining face so the Division can <br />calculate the cost of the Reclamation Warranty. The maximum length of the mining <br />face will occur after the entire proposed affected area is mined. The length of the <br />mining face at this point would be 1,500 lineal feet. The maximum mine face height <br />anticipated and based upon the mine face of the adjacent sand and gravel pit would be <br />15 feet. <br />2) How long is the conveyor system and why is the cost of removing the conveyor system <br />not included under Exhibit L. The operator will require a maximum of 10001ineal <br />feet of conveyor for this project, based upon a 200 ft maximum haul distance for a <br />front end loader and the positioning of the crusher and scales at the adjacent sand and <br />gravel operations. The cost of removing the conveyor is not included in Exhibit "L" <br />because the conveyor systems employed are not fixed to the ground and are <br />frequently and easily moved around and off the property. The Plant utilized for this <br />operation is portable as is all conveyors that will be utilized.
