<br />GREELF:Y sxxlss <br />These are well drained, moderately coarse textured, terrace soils <br />developing in moderate],y coarse textured, calcareous, stratified water ' <br />lain materials which have been derived from a variety of parent rocks, <br />buried subsoils often occur. <br />These soils occupy the level to gently sloe high terraces, the "fan- <br />like" areas at the mouth of small drainage ways and occur on the moderately <br />coarse textured flood plains of the larger intermittent streams of the <br />uplands. <br />The Greeley soils are moderately productive soils. They have a moderate <br />water holding capacity; are easily tilled over a wide range of moisture <br />content and are moderately rapid in permeability. <br />SOIL PROFILR <br />Surface Soil <br />0-8 inches, grayish brown fine sandy loam. Very friable, with <br />fine granular structure; non calcareous. <br />Subsoil <br />- ~, r 8-29 inches, grayish brown and brown sandy loams.
