Mr. Chris Rowe
December 8, 2006
Page Six of Six
2. As noted in the November 28, 20061etter from the Town of Frederick, Colorado,
the Comenish property is located in unincorporated Weld County and therefore is
not subject to the Town's land use regulations.
3. The Applicant will work with Weld County to developed the appropriate Road
Maintenance Agreement for Weld County Road 20 %:.
4. There are no known wetlands on the subject property.
5. The Applicant wilt leave a setback, along the west boundary of the subject
property, adequate to accommodate Weld County's future road needs.
Finally, we must not lose sight of the fact that the purpose of a 111 Special
Operation Permit is to provide an applicant with an expedited pemrit review and approval
process. As the overall burden of regulatory compliance continues to grow, the Division
must be vigilant in order to preserve the integrity of the 111 Permit program.
Sincerely,
Michael J.
