San Luis Project <br />MLRB Permit No. M-88-112 <br />Dear Mr. Johnson: <br />Regarding the subject MLRB reclamation and mining <br />permit, we, on behalf of the Costilla County Committee for <br />Environmental Soundness, would appreciate your earliest response <br />to the following. Pursuant to the State Administrative Procedure <br />Act, please provide me a list of persons and/or organizations who <br />requested and obtained party status while the MLRB was <br />considering the Battle Mountain San Luis permit. Please provide <br />the name, address, and telephone number of each party. Second, <br />please provide me with a copy of the final, approved permit <br />including all the modifications and additional stipulations added <br />to the permit application during MLRB staff meetings with Battle, <br />Mountain and the March 23, 1989 hearing. Finally, if possible, <br />CCCES would like to borrow the tapes or a copy of the tapes from <br />the January 25, February 23, and March 23, 1989 MLRB hearings, <br />when testimony was heard on the Battle Mountain San Luis permit <br />application. We recognize that it is our responsibility to pay <br />to have the tapes transcribed if we would like a copy of the <br />transcript and, therefore, we will transcribe the tape? if we can <br />borrow them from you for a few weeks. <br />Please let me know at your earliest convenience <br />regarding the above.
