• Watershed Analysis Rule 2.06.5(2)(d)
LS =length and percent slope factor
L =length of slope and S =percent slope are combined into an LS factor
The length slope factorwill vary between the approved' and 'proposed' configuration of the
site. Length slope factors will be derived from the plan view shown on Exhibit 6C for the
'approved' and 'proposed' configuration (approved Exhibit 6C is in the permit, proposed
Exhibit 6C is the map submitted with the PR-03 application). The comparison is broken
into 'Flat' and 'Steep' slopes for Drainage Areas A, B, and C. Length of slope and percent
slope are used with Figure 4, Values of Topographic Factor to determine the "LS" factor.
The length of slope is considered to end where it transitions into another basin. The
following tables show the interpolation of data from Figure 4. The bold data are the
measured length of slope, percent slope and interpolated LS factor.
Values of the Topographic Factor "LS"
Basin A - roved Flat
Percent Slo
Len th of Slo 0.2 0.2 0.3
60 0.07 0.1 0.08
65 0.07
80 0.08 0.1 0.08
Values of the To o ra hic Factor "LS"
Basin A- roved Stee
Percent Slo e
Length of Slope 40 •41.1 50
600 31 32.4 44
685 34.22
700 33 34.5 47
Values of the To o ra hic Factor "LS"
Basin A -Pro osed Flat
Percent Slo
Length of Slope 0.2 0.2 0.3
60 0.07 0.1 0.08
65 0.07
80 0.08 0.1 0.08
Values of the Topographic Factor "LS"
Basin B - A roved Flat
Percent Slo
Len th of Sloe 3 3.8 4
200 0.35 0.5 0.53
263 0.55
300 0.4 0.6 0.62
Values of the Topograp hic Factor "LS"
Basin A -Pro osed Stee
Percent Slo
Len th of Sloe 40 41.1 50
600 31 32.4 44
685 34.22
700 33 34.5 47
Values of the Topo, ra hic Factor "LS"
Basin B - roved Stee
~ PercentSlo e
Len th of Sloe 40 46.3 50
700 33 41.8 47
744 43.14
800 36 44.8 50
• PR-03 A14-9-2 02/07
