-6- <br />Permit Condition <br />_~ A reportable spill is a spill of any toxic or hazardous substance (including spills of petroteum products) within the <br />mined land permit area reportable to any Di~~sion of the Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment, the <br />National Response Center, the Colorado Emergency Planning Commission, any local Emergency Planning Commission, <br />local Emergency Planning Committee, or the State Oi] Inspector. 1'he Mine Operator shall notify the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DBMS) of a reportable spill within the mined land permit area using the same time&ame <br />required by the permit, license, notice, statute, rule orrognla[ion governing the repotting ofthospill to the other appropriate <br />agency. Notice ofa reportable spin shall be FAXed [o: Minerals Program Supervisor, DivisionofReclamation, Minirrgand <br />Safety, FAX (303) 832-8 ] 06. The FrUY shall include acall-back number of a responsible company official for DR,MS staff <br />to use as a contact. <br />It is likely there will be additions, changes, and deletions to this document prior to final decisionby the Office. Therefore, ifyon have <br />any comments or concerns you must contact the applicant or the Ofice prior fo the decision date so that you will know what changes <br />may have been mstle to fhe application document. <br />The Office is net allowed to considor cotmnents, unless they are written, and received prior to the end of the public comment period. <br />l'ou should contact the applicant for the final date of [he public cotrunent period. <br />[fyou have questions about the Mined [and Reclamation board and l7ffice review and decision or appeals process, you mayconlacf the <br />Office at (303) 86G-3567. <br />
