~J <br />SOiT. COVER CLASSIFICATION <br />The type of vegetation, having a major impact on the infiltration capacity, varies from poor to fair <br />in areas that are well protected by vegetation. The enclosed photographs show some of the <br />vegetation, shrubs and trees that are present over most of the basin area. The hydrologic condition <br />' reflects the level of land management and is separated into three classes: poor, fair and good. <br />The followingclassificationsforestablishingconditionsthatexistthroughouttheTallahasseeCreek <br />Drainage Basin are as follows: <br />• Poor Hydrological Condition has less than 30% ground cover density <br />' Fair Hydrological Condition has between 30% and 70% ground cover density <br />• Good Hydrological Condition had more than 70% ground cover density <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />PAGE 6 <br />i~ <br />
