' Each one of the sub-basins are named after the creek traversing through the entire length of the sub-
, basin. For example, the Tallahassee Creek North is subdivided into for (4) sub-basins and aze
identified as TCN 1, TCN Il, TCN IIl and TCN fV. The sub-basins aze all identified on the
' "Tallahassee Drainage Basin -Sub-basin Boundaries" drawing.
The "Tallahassee Drainage Basin Map" shows the entire watershed of the Tallahassee Basin with
40 feet interval contour lines and all the creeks and gulleys that eventually direct all the run-offto
' the Arkansas River.
The softwaze that has been used in generating the required output is [be Eagle Point Software.
Information regarding the Eagle Point software from the net is shown under Exhibit III. This type
' of software is widely used and I found their programs to be excellent in addition to providing very
professional technical support.
~~
The SCS Synthetic Unit Hydrographs are generated by our Eagle Point Program Software. The normal
' range is from 300 to 600 where 300 represents flat swampy areas and 600 is for steep mountainous
terrain. Based on the topography of the Tallahassee Creek Basin, the coefficient 484 is considered
' a good average for this study.
' RAII<`FALL
' IDF Curves were created to compute the hydrographs using the SCS Synthetic Unit Hydrographs
which were best suited for our application where the sub-basin areas vary from 2000 to 4000 acres.
(Exhibit [1~.
