Twentymile Coal Company is owned by Colorado Coal Resources, LLC, Peabody Investments
Corporation, successor by sale to Peabody Energy Corporation from RAG American Coal Company {April
16, 2004). Prior to this sale, Twentymile Coal Company was formerly a subsidiary of RAG American Coal
Company. RAG American Coal Company successor by merger to Cyprus Amax Coal Company (June 30,
1999).
Twentymile Coal Company has no owners and controllers as defined by Rules 1.04(83a) and 1.04(92) other
than Colorado Coal Resources, LLC, and its owners, officers and directors; Peabody Investments
Corpomtion, and its owners, officers and directors; and Peabody Energy Corporation, and its owners,
