2.03.12 Newsuaaer Publication A copy of the current (as of TRl 1 8/2002) proposed newspaper publication for the mining operation is as follows: Oakridge Energy, Inc., whose office is located at 4613 Jacksboro Highway, Wichita Falls, Texas 76301 (telephone (940) 322-4772) has filed an application for a technical revision to a valid existing permit for the Cazbon Junction Mine (permit C-92-080) with the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology. The subject of the revision is a modification of the reclamation plan including excision of approximately 152.87 acres from the permit area that aze undisturbed or have been incorporated into the adjacent aggregate operation The legal description of the permit azea is: a tract of land located within Section 33, Township 34'/z North, Range 9 West and Section 33 of Township 35 North, Range 9 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian, La Plata County, Colorado and being more particulazly described as follows: Beginning at the SE Comer of Section 33, Township 34'/z North, Range 9 West, S 79°05'01" W a distance of 1263.09' to the point of beginning; beginning at a ;thence S 84°38'04" W a distance of 465.75 ; thence N 66°44'06" W a distance of 315.05 ;thence S 24°23'59" W a distance of 711.77 ; thence N 82°02'00" W a distance of 508.12 ;thence S 14°06'30" W a distance of 235.92'; thence N 90°00'00" W a distance of 600.00; thence S O1°00'35" W a distance of 720.09; thence S 52°43'29" W a distance of 353.41; thence S 00°30'26" W a distance of 358.02 ; thence S 82°31'32" E a distance of 255.73 ;thence S 02°37'32" W a distance of 317.37; thence S 86°58'27" E a distance of 314.80; thence N 29°50'25" E a distance of 401.27; thence N 48°11'08" E a distance of 453.17; thence N 70°06'45" E a distance of 706.91'; thence N 29°05'53" E a distance of 1086.70; thence N 22°05'27" E a distance of 587.55 ;which is the point of beginning, having an azea of 62.21 acres. The surface owners of the property are Oakridge Energy, Inc. and William D. Ewing Jr., and First Interstate Bank of Denver. The U.S.G.S. 7,5 minute quadrangles titled "Durango East" and "Loma Linda" contain the permit area of the mine. The mine site is located two miles southeast of the Durango city limits, midway up Carbon Junction Canyon, on Ewing Mesa. This is approximately one mile east of the Highway 160-550 business route junction, lying one mile east of the Animas River.
