The property owner on the north side of the
mining operation which contains buildings as depicted on
the mining plan mag is John Hill, He is also the owner of
the property to b~~ mined. The property owner adjacent to
Mr. Hill on the north side is Mr. Kenneth Etter.
Item 2. We anticipate having enougiz-averburden to
cover the disturbed areas wit~i~a 6" to 12" depth. Any
additional top soil will be sold. as a product. The seeding
recommendations as proposed by the soil conservation ser-
vice will be followed.
Item 3. The owner of the property does not want to
apply for a "change in use" on any of the Larkin Di-tch
water. Therefore,. water for dust control will be purchased
at an artesian we].1 site located in DeBeque. In the event
aggregates are wa:;hed at this location, we will use water
from the pit dewat:ering operation. This water will be
returned to the pi.t after going through a series of settling
ponds to remove the silt.
It is our opinion that potential damage to downstream
water rights resulting from evaporative loss is so remote
that is should not. be a condition of this permit.
Item 4. We are prepared to follow the Division of
Wildlife's recommendations with the following exceptions:
SAND & GRAVEL CO.
PAVING, INC.
P. O.
