THE ACTIVITY TO WHICH THIS PERMIT APPLIES IS DESCRIBED AND LOCATED AS
FOLLOWS:
Surface mine located 12 miles east of Wa]den,
Colorado on Jackson County Route 12E in Jackson
County.

THIS PERMIT IS GRANTED SUBJECT TO ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE
COLORADO AIR QUALITY CONTROL COMMISSION AND THE COLORADO AIR QUALITY
CONTROL ACT C.R.S. 1873 (25-7-101 et ~), TO THOSE GENERAL TERMS AND
CONDITIONS SET FORTH ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF THIS DOCUMENT AND THE
FOLLOWING SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. Abatement and preventive fugitive dust control measures shall include but
not be limited to:
a. Wetting down, including prewatering, of areas where work is in
progress.
b. Landscaping and replanting with native vegetation on all disturbed
areas. Until these areas are revegetated, fugitive dust shall be
controlled by chemical stabilization or a method approved by the Air
Pollution Control Division.
c. Restriction of vehicle speeds on site to 30 miles per hour.
d. Prevention of the deposit of dirt and mud on treated haul roads
and paved roads; any dirt and mud which is deposited shall be removed.
e. FIau1 roads shall be treated with a resinous adhesive for maximum control
. of fugitive dust.
