<br /> <br />COLORADO D <br />Air Pollution Control Division <br />OP HEALTH <br />Telephone: (303) 320-4180 <br />EMISSION PERMIT <br />FUGITIVE DUST <br />PERMIT NO. <br />C-13,080-1 <br />INITIAL APPROVAL <br />FINAL APPROVAL <br />DATE I55UED: January 30, 1981 <br />ISSUED TO: KERR COAL COMPANY <br />THE ACTIVITY TO WHICH THIS PERMIT APPLIES IS DESCRIBED AND LOCATED AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Surface mine located 12 miles east of Wa]den, <br />Colorado on Jackson County Route 12E in Jackson <br />County. <br /> <br />THIS PERMIT IS GRANTED SUBJECT TO ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE <br />COLORADO AIR QUALITY CONTROL COMMISSION AND THE COLORADO AIR QUALITY <br />CONTROL ACT C.R.S. 1873 (25-7-101 et ~), TO THOSE GENERAL TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS SET FORTH ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF THIS DOCUMENT AND THE <br />FOLLOWING SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS: <br />1. Abatement and preventive fugitive dust control measures shall include but <br />not be limited to: <br />a. Wetting down, including prewatering, of areas where work is in <br />progress. <br />b. Landscaping and replanting with native vegetation on all disturbed <br />areas. Until these areas are revegetated, fugitive dust shall be <br />controlled by chemical stabilization or a method approved by the Air <br />Pollution Control Division. <br />c. Restriction of vehicle speeds on site to 30 miles per hour. <br />d. Prevention of the deposit of dirt and mud on treated haul roads <br />and paved roads; any dirt and mud which is deposited shall be removed. <br />e.
