Davis
1390 Ash Street
Denver, CO 80220
Dear i4r. Davis:
At your request of May 13, 1987 I have evaluaced those areas in which you
plan to drill coal exploration holes. Those areas being T 33 S, R 63 W S29 N l/2
and T 33 S, R 63 W, S30 SE ); NE Z.
There are no known occttrance of any species which are currentl•r included on
rile federal or state endangered or threatened species list. Therefore, L do not
believe this development will impose a threat to those species.
It should be noted that the Colorado Division of Wildlife released 50 sharp-
tail grouse, which are on the state endangered species list, approximately nine
miles east and cllree miles south of your proposed drill sites. Due to the
topography, vegetation and distance between the two sites, I do not forsee any
problems occurring.
If L can be of further assistance, please contact me.
Sincerely,
SA/vm
mes L.
