We have <br />focused on impacts to water resources aspects of the Sage Hill Farm. <br />We have based our comments on a review of the following documents: <br />• Application For A Use By Special Review (Mining) for the Nix Property Sand And <br />Gravel Mine -Weld County, Colorado, dated May 2001 <br />• Application for Temporary Substitute Supply Plan -Owens Brothers Concrete <br />Company Nix Sand and Gravel Mine, Weld County Colorado, dated June 2001 <br />Based upon our initial review and evaluation of the proposed project, we believe that <br />there are several potential impacts of concern. <br />General Identification of Water Resources Impacts of Concern <br />We_ have identified the following potential impacts of the proposed Nix Property Sand <br />and Gravel Mine on the water resources of the Sage Hill Farm.
