It <br />would no longer pond and support aquatic life, the soils would be oxidized, and most <br />wetland plants would die in the first couple of years. I also feel that this land would <br />be subject to noxious weed invasion. I also strongly doubt that the application of <br />surface water could in anyway mitigate the pumping down of the natural ground <br />water table under your wetland. <br />Sincerely, <br />David J.
