I will address each item in the <br />same order that you listed them. <br />EXHIBIT C-PRE-MINIG and MINING PLAN MAPS of AFFECTED LANDS <br />l.) CONCERNING SECTION 1.1 (3) WIIICH STATES THAT, IF A ROAD IS <br />EXISTING BUT WILL BE SIGNIFIANTLY UPGRADED, THAT IT MUST BE <br />INCLUDED IN THE PROPOSED PERMIT OF AFFECTED LANDS. The road <br />that services this pit has been in existence for more than thirty-three yeazs and it <br />severed two gravel pits, which are shown along with the road on the 1971 <br />TRINIDAD EAST, COLO. U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY MAP on which the <br />gravel pits and the road aze depicted. This road will be lightly graded to remove <br />some minor ruts and to clean out the drainage along the side of the road. However <br />this road will not be upgraded other than to refresh it to what is was originally. <br />EXHIBIT D- MINING PLAN <br />2.) Leone Sand and Gravel has committed "to placing topsoil and overburden <br />stockpiles along the entire low edge of all the mining phases as a first step of mining <br />operations. The berms and pits created will control erosion and sedimentation". <br />
