This matter is now scheduled for
22-23, 1984 meeting. As I mentioned, since this request was made
telephone, I will expect written confirmation of tt for our file.
request
rmit
he March
I have reviewed your replies to my adequacy letter of February 9, 1 84 and
find that there are (as I mentioned to you ]ast week) sti]1 several areas that
I feel require further clarification. For purposes of convenience, I will
still use the same Exhibit letter and question number designations s 1n my
February 9 letter. Any question areas not mentioned again are now onsldered
adequately answered.
I still do not have the two copies of page 4 of the 110 application form that
have been signed and dated by Mr. DiRezza. As I mentioned, these st be
submitted to make the application adequate.
Exhibit B
1. I understand that parts of Phases 3 and 4 have not been dlst
mining since 1973. However, old disturbance 1n such areas is ofte
difficult to differentiate from newer mining-related disturbance.
I suggested to you that any undisturbed area simply be excised froi
proposed permit area. One other possibility is to clearly outline
on a map that will not (under the present plan) be redl5turbed and
leaving these areas undisturbed under this plan. If the plan than
these areas are to be redisturbed, the operator should then submit
revision to the permit that describes the planned disturbances. T
approved by the Board cannot at one and the same time allow dlstur
area and not allow such disturbance. Please discuss this matter f
by
very
is why
the
hose areas
omnlt to
s, and
technical
plan
nce to an
ther.
423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel.
