-4- <br /> RIDER TO MINING PERMIT <br /> Permit Date: June 23 1983 <br /> Permit Number: 81-302 <br /> Operator: Flatiron Sand and Gravel Company <br /> ADDITIONAL STIPULATIONS <br /> The following additional stipulations form an integral part of the <br /> captioned permit: <br /> 1 . If plans to relocate Irrigation Ditch No. 2 are not approved by the ditch <br /> company having an interest in the structure, then Flatiron Sand and Gravel <br /> Company should submit 'a technical revision which describes how the ditch will <br /> be protected from mining activities at the site; and, include a statement, in <br /> conformance with Rule 1 .56(5) of the Rules and Regulations, that an agreement{ <br /> exists between the operator and the ditch company that damage tothe structure <br /> will be compensated for by the operator. <br /> 2. The attention of the operator is directed to the necessity of compliance <br /> with Colorado Water Law. The Division of Water Resources has made <br /> recommendations (see enclosure) concerning the permit operation. The operator <br /> is encouraged to resolve any differences regarding such recommendations with <br /> the Division of Water Resources.
