Box 1190, Port Collins, CO 805?2 <br />FROM: Jay Lucas, Reclamation Specialist <br />Pursuant to the requirement of the Colorado Mined Reclamation Act* <br />to inform counties and certain municipalities of Development and Extraction <br />(i.e. mining) Permit applicatioris filed with this office, please know that <br />Ideal Basic Industries, Inc. has filed an <br />application for a Permit to Quarry gypsum <br />at the following legal description: Section 18, Section 7, T11N, R69W <br />The applicant proposes to reclaim the site for Drv Raneeland .The <br />deadline for persons to file statements regarding this operation, or to <br />petition for a hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board to consider <br />the granting of a Permit is set by law; for information please call this <br />office. <br />Prior to Board approval the applicant's proposed mining and reclamation <br />plans must be in conformance with Zoca1 zoning ordinances, subdivision <br />regulations, or master plan. Pursuant to Sections 39-32-109(6) and <br />39-32-115 (e) of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act, C.R.S. 34-32-101 <br />et sec., please inform the Mined land Reclamation Division as to th~a status <br />of the above captioned site with regard to conformance with your lo~:al <br />zoning Zaws. The attached sheet is provided so that you might answrsr us in <br />a convenient, quick manner. <br />If we do not hear form uou before <br />that the above mining operation is in conformance with local zoning and land <br />use. <br />Also, the applicant is required to place a copy of the application for public <br />inspection with the Clerk of the county in which the proposed mine .:s situated. <br />It is the Board's understanding that the Act intends for the application to <br />be made available For public review and comment in an area close to the mine; <br />it is not intended that it be made a part of public record by recording. <br />The Board is tentatively scheduled to consider this application on1,Dr~~ 91.22, 1982 <br />We appreciate your cooperation in this matter and will be happy to a-nswer any <br />questions. <br />*Atticle 37 of Title 39, Colorado Revised Statutes 2973, as amended. <br />Rev. 2/10 <br />i 423 Centennial Building. 1313 Sherman Street Denver.
