1. i' <br />~' <br />C <br />C <br />~~ <br />Colorado River cutthroat trout: This species was addressed in the FS sensitive species <br />section of this report. <br />Rocky Mountain or Adobe Thistle: This species was addressed in the FS sensitive <br />species section of this report. <br />Conservation Requirements Necessary for Determination of No Effect/No Impact <br />During wildlife surveys conducted in May and June 2005, no T&E wildlife species or <br />their habitat were found. Should any of these species be encountered appropriate <br />measures as determined by the Forest Service and FWS will be implemented to avoid <br />disturbance. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Q <br />Q <br /> <br />J <br />One listed plant species, the Rocky Mountain Thistle was found in the project azea. <br />These were found in disturbed areas along roads and powerlines. Upgrading of roads <br />will be done in a manner to preclude adversely affecting this species. <br />Habitat disturbance in Aspen and Douglas-fir stands will be kept to a min;mum to protect <br />snags that could be used by cavity nesting birds. <br />Sediment control measures will be utilized to minimi~r. the risk of impacting Hubbard, <br />Bear, or Elk Creeks. <br />Herbicide treatment of disturbed areas will occur annually to prevent the establishment <br />and spread of noxious weeds. <br />Prepared by: John W.
