Russell Means, Environmental Protection Specialist <br />G~ <br />Re: Dirt Merchant Inc., Welts Pit, Fiie No. M-2006-027 <br />~~ <br />KECEIVED <br />~G 14 2006 <br />rvislon of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safely <br />On August 8, 2006, I drafted a letter to DMG regarding the above pit and stated that <br />Applicant had to comply with Delta County specific development requirements prior to <br />obtaining approval for the gravel pit. <br />After conferring with Mr. Brian Wells, we find that our record of the location of the pit is <br />in error and that the proposed gravel pit is located within the City Limits of the City of <br />Delta. The proposed pit does not require review by Delta County for specific <br />development. <br />Please disregard my letter dated August 8, 2006 and proceed with your review.
