Thus, a background concentration of zem was assuared to detemrine assitmlative capacities. Note 2: No current data were available for dissolved Pb or total recoverable Fe. However, data for total Pb and total Fe were available and thus were used as the respective backgound concentration. ~. Note 3: Claren[ data for dissolved Ni and Ag were unavailable. The findings of comparable studies suggest that dissolved Ni and Ag have been removed from the list of pollutants of concern for a waterbody when in-stream samples are found at less than detection levels m at extremely low concentrations. When sample results are found at less than detection levels, the value of zero is used in accordance with the WQCD's standard approach for summaiization and averaging.
