A. Hood
B. f. Hande)la..~
E. A. Mevisser
Fite W-5051
In our October 8, 1979 telephone conversation, you indicated that the
detailed pier design and elevations were required before you could advise
1f a Carp 404 permit was necessary for the river crossing. Accordingly,
Dravo had Intermountain Technical Service establish elevations as of
October 9 end then based on these Dravo pl•epared drawings of the conveyor
bent foundation. Attached for your review are:
• Dravo Drawing 346001, Rev. A - Plot Plan
• Dravo Drawing 346004, Rev. 1 - Profile 30" Conveyor C-1
• Dravo Sketch SK110179PL - Fdn. Detail at River Island
On October 8. Intermountain Technical Service reported the river
elevation as 6011.4'. Based on your opinion that Ordinary High Water
was 12-15" above the current river elevation, Ordinary High Water could
be assumed to be at approximately 6018.5 to 6019 feet. This is well below
the Lop of the island near our piers. Intermountain also estia>ated Extreme
High Meter (based on their opinion of vegetation) as 6025,1 feet.
t~
OAAVO COR•OAATIOM MEYI-~E IE\AMO -I1 IEEVR G11. 1•EMNE~IYAN IA ly7lS II,~E•MOMI tl} 7)11700
