ULLOM
QUALITYCONTROL MANAGER
RE: File: M-88-101, Fondis Pit Incomplete Application
Dear Mr. Boyd:
Per your request for additional information, we have enclosed the
following items:
1. An additional copy of the entire application
2. A sectional view of the mine during operation and at
completion, with stream location.
3. A plan view showing the location of stockpiles during various
phases of operation.
4. A plan view showing the closest manmade structure is the
property fence 225 feet from the northwest corner of the
proposed site.
5. A topographical map showing the stream and permit location.
The mine will parallel the stream bed on the east side. The east
bank of the stream varies from 10 to 25 feet high. We propose to
leave a 10 feet high bank along the stream bed and place a berm
along the stream bed with any overburden that we strip. In some
areas there is no topsoil. At these locations we will use gravel
to make the berm for protection of contamination.
We hope this will fulfill your request for further information.
If additional information is needed, please contact the undersigned.
Sincerely,
Rick Ullom
RU/jas
