<br />EXHIBIT "B" <br />Mining Plan <br /> <br />This mine has been operated in the past in a random manner. The existing pit <br />which is adjacent to County Road 201 is approximately 150' x 50'. Slopes <br />directly adjacent to County Road 201 from the mined area West do not exceed <br />20%. <br />Mining will commence at the site of the existing pit and proceed 41est <br />approximately 350 feet, Southwest approximately 400 feet and South approximately <br />300 feet during the three year permit period. The total area of actual mining <br />will not exceed 3 acres. <br />Faterial will be extracted and stockpiled on the Southern bench of the mining <br />area during the first year of operation where it will be crushed and transported <br />for road application. When a sufficient amount of material has been mined, the <br />operation will be moved into the pit area. This is anticipated to take place <br />during the second year of operation. <br />~+' <br />The headwall height of the pit is anticipated to be no higher than 25 feet ~ ~ <br />from the centerline elevation of County Road 201. Topsoil will be stockpiled <br />on the Southwest portion of the site and will be seeded if exposed for more <br />than a year. <br />Operational months will be June through November ~•~ith permit life to extend <br />through 1987. Equipment to be utilized on-site include the following: <br />* crusher (180 tons/hr.) <br />* scale <br />* 1-3 conveyors <br />* stacker <br />* D-8/D-7 cats <br />* 3/4 yd. loader <br />* generator trailer <br />* 10 and 20 yd. trucks (20 trips/day) <br />Temporary road construction standards for this site will require a 16 foot ~,,~~ <br />road bed, crown bladed tvith 6 inch road base. <br />Livestock graze the area from Nay 15 to July 1 and October 1 to October 15 <br />every year. Operators will exercise caution during these tune frames. <br />_I <br /> <br />
