Based on my field observations of <br />soil profiles already exposed by mining activities as well as the general <br />vegetation and soils patterns in the area, I have identified these soils as <br />the Pierian series. Please refer to page 23 of the Chaffee-Lake Area Soil <br />Survey (copy already provided) for a complete description of this soil.
